긴 복도와 작은 문 (The Long Hall and the Tiny Door)

Suddenly, the fall ended.

Alice found herself in a long hall with many doors.

On a small glass table, she found a tiny golden key.

She also found a small bottle that said "Drink Me."

Alice drank from the bottle and began to shrink.

Soon she was only ten inches tall!

Now she was small enough for the tiny door.

But she had left the key on the table, too high to reach.

Then she found a small cake that said "Eat Me."

She ate the cake and began to grow.

She grew and grew until her head hit the ceiling!

"How strange!" cried Alice.

"I'm growing like a telescope!"

She looked down at her feet.

They were very far away now.

"Goodbye, feet!" she said.

She was now nine feet tall.

She picked up the little golden key easily.

But now she was too big for the tiny door!

Poor Alice!

She could only look through the door at the beautiful garden.

She was much too big to go through.

She sat down and began to cry.

"Stop crying!" she told herself.

"A big girl like you should not cry!"

But she could not stop crying.

Soon there was a pool of tears around her.

The pool was four inches deep.

She heard footsteps in the distance.

It was the White Rabbit again.

He was dressed very nicely in a coat.

He had white gloves in one hand and a fan in the other.
