Brain Check Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Brain Check app and web service, including Brain Check Plus subscriptions. By using the service or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

1. Service

Brain Check provides English learning, speaking practice, learning material management, and AI-powered learning assistance features. Some features may be provided for free, while some features may be available only to Brain Check Plus subscribers.

2. Account and User Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account information and keep account access secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
• You may not use the service in an illegal way or in a way that infringes another person's rights.

3. Plus Subscription and Pricing

Brain Check Plus is offered at US$4.50 per month or US$43 per year. The yearly subscription saves about 20% compared with paying monthly for 12 months. Subscriptions renew automatically according to the selected billing cycle, and Paddle may charge the next period unless you cancel before the next billing date.

Taxes, exchange rates, and payment method fees may be calculated and displayed separately in Paddle Checkout depending on your location and payment environment.

4. AI Credits and Storage

• Plus subscribers receive 50GB storage and 20,000 AI Credits per month.
• AI Credits are an internal service unit used to measure AI-powered feature usage and have no cash value.
• Unused AI Credits expire monthly and do not roll over, transfer, sell, or become refundable.
• Reasonable usage limits may apply when needed for service stability, abuse prevention, or cost management.

5. Billing and Paddle

Brain Check Plus payments are processed by Paddle as the merchant of record and reseller. Paddle handles payment method processing, tax calculation, receipts, refunds, and related billing operations. You also agree to the buyer terms and payment conditions displayed in Paddle Checkout.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops automatic renewal from the next billing date. If time remains in the already paid period, you can generally use the subscription benefits until the end of that period. Refund conditions are governed by the Refund Policy, Paddle policies, and applicable law.

7. User Content

Rights to learning materials, files, text, audio, images, and other content uploaded or entered by you remain with you or the relevant rights holder. You permit Brain Check to process that content as needed to provide, sync, store, analyze, and support AI features in the service.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Uploading content that infringes another person's rights, privacy, or intellectual property rights
• Interfering with the service or creating excessive automated requests
• Attempting to bypass AI Credits, billing, subscription status, or storage limits
• Using the service for illegal, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes

9. Changes and Interruptions

Brain Check may change or temporarily interrupt parts of the service for improvement, security, or operational reasons. We will provide reasonable notice when important changes occur.

10. Limitation of Liability

Brain Check works to provide a stable service, but does not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted or that every learning result will reach a specific level. To the extent permitted by law, Brain Check's liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the relevant service period.
