Brain Check Privacy Policy
Brain Check processes personal information as needed to provide the service, manage accounts, sync learning data, operate Plus subscriptions, and provide customer support.

1. Information We Process
- Account information: email address, name or profile information, and login provider information
- Learning information: learning records, card and deck data, review status, and learning settings
- User content: text, images, audio, and other files entered or uploaded by users
- Voice and AI feature information: inputs and outputs needed for speaking practice, speech recognition, and AI generation or analysis features
- Technical information: device, app version, error logs, access time, service usage, and security events
- Subscription information: product ID, subscription status, billing cycle, purchase or renewal status, and Paddle order identifiers
2. Purposes of Use
- Providing the service, account authentication, and learning data storage and sync
- Providing AI features, calculating usage, deducting AI Credits, and displaying balances
- Providing Plus storage, AI Credits, and other subscription benefits, and checking subscription status
- Error analysis, security, abuse prevention, and customer support
- Service improvement, statistical analysis, and legal compliance
3. Paddle Billing Information
Brain Check Plus payments are processed by Paddle as the merchant of record and reseller. Brain Check does not directly collect or store full payment method information such as full card numbers or card security codes. Paddle processes information needed for payments, tax calculation, receipts, refunds, and payment disputes under its own privacy policy.
Brain Check may receive the minimum necessary information from Paddle for subscription delivery and customer support, including payment status, product information, order identifiers, subscription status, and billing email.
4. Retention Period
Personal information is retained for the period needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. If you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify related information within a reasonable period, except for information needed for legal compliance, dispute handling, security, and accounting purposes.
5. Third-Party Sharing and Processors
Brain Check may use external service providers for cloud infrastructure, authentication, billing, error analysis, and AI feature delivery as needed to operate the service. These providers must follow required safeguards by contract or policy and process information only for the designated purposes.
6. International Transfers
Personal information may be processed outside your country of residence to operate the service and process Paddle payments. We work to apply safeguards required by applicable law.
7. Security
Brain Check applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards such as access controls, encryption, log management, and permission management. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your Rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, or data portability. Send requests to [email protected]. We may request additional information when identity verification is needed.
9. Children's Privacy
Brain Check does not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by applicable law. Contact us if you believe children's personal information has been collected.
10. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated due to service changes, legal changes, or operational needs. Important changes will be announced through the service or another appropriate method.
